Pamaskong Handog 2023: Bosconians Sharing Christmas
December 20, 2023, Mandaluyong City—Don Bosco Mandaluyong’s EPC shared the joy of Christmas with its adopted community during this year’s “Pamaskong Handog,” held on Gaudete Sunday, December 17, 2023.
The day of joy began with the celebration of the Holy Mass in the Chapel of Saint John Bosco, presided over by Fr. Glenn Joseph Protacio, DBTC VP for Pastoral Affairs and Student Services. Fr. Ronilo Basilio Javines, SDB, DBTC Rector/President, gave the homily. A short break immediately followed, providing ample time to transfer to the Gesu Adolescente Gymnasium. The program began with the Opening Remarks by Fr. Ramil Maranan, SDB. The song and dance presentations by the DBYC of Savio Parish, Pinardi Migrant Youth and a duet of college Bosconians added happiness and cheer.
About 250 families received a Christmas package that included items for Noche Buena. These packs were produced through the generous in-kind and cash donations of Bosconians and LaMPs who voluntarily participated in this event.
The program concluded with a hearty lunch, marked by smiles and grateful remarks from the volunteers and those who received this year’s Pamaskong Handog!
