71st Founder's Week Celebration Kicks-off

January 28, 2024, Mandaluyong City—A series of events kicked off the festive 71st Founder’s Week Celebration of Don Bosco Mandaluyong with its theme derived from the 2024 Strenna, “The Dream that Makes You Dream”.

The week-long festive celebration was hyped up not with loud cheers but with prayer and a series of virtue challenges last January 22, 2024, the novena and nosegay in honor of Saint John Bosco.

Midway, on January 26, the visit of Cardinal Mario Grech added a depth of meaning to the celebration. It has enkindled the spirit of synodality that DBTC embraced as it takes the road toward its 75th year. That night was capped off with BOSCOFEST’24, the concert for a cause that featured Leila, Night Over Alaska, SUD, and Mayonnaise. The music and fun aimed to raise funds for the construction of the façade of Saint John Bosco Chapel.

Saturday, January 27, saw the field demo and family day of the Grade School.

Officially, the week-long festive celebration began on Sunday, January 28, our biggest Family Day! The day opened with a motorcade, wreath-laying, and the celebration of the Holy Mass. Afterwards, the exhibit areas of the Basic Education, TVET, and Tertiary Education Sectors were blessed and opened.
