Cardinal Mario Grech visits Don Bosco Mandaluyong

January 26, 2024, Friday—Cardinal Mario Grech, Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops, visited Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) during its 71st Founder’s Week Celebration. The youth of Saint Dominic Savio Parish welcomed them with a traditional Sinulog dance, setting a tone of festive joy.

At DBTC, Cardinal Grech received a heartfelt welcome from Salesian Priests, Lay Mission Partners, Student Representatives, and Officers of the Parents' Association. The visit highlighted DBTC's commitment to embracing Synodality—a journey towards collaborative governance in the Church.

Joy and solidarity filled the air, reflecting Salesian spirituality rooted in love, service, and companionship. Cardinal Grech's visit affirmed DBTC's dedication to Synodality and strengthened community bonds. The EPC presented him with a copy of the Institutional Development Plan anchored on integral ecology and a synodal approach. Embracing Synodality, DBTC sets forth a transformative path guided by dialogue, discernment, and communion under Cardinal Grech's blessings and guidance.

The Cardinal was among the speakers of the recently concluded 10th Philippine Conference on New Evangelization.
