Unlocking the Future: Robotics and AI Workshop

Don Bosco Technical College recently concluded an engaging 2-Day Workshop Seminar on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) held last June 10-11, 2024 in the Roderick Flores Hall dubbed as Don Bosco TechFAIR (Technology Fundamentals, AI, and Robotics). The event attracted enthusiastic participants eager to explore the exciting realms of robotics and AI. Specifically designed to prepare incoming Grade 6 students for the upcoming school year (SY 2024-25), the seminar aimed to introduce essential concepts such as robot design, programming logic, and task optimization, laying a solid foundation for their future endeavors in robotics.

During the hands-on sessions, participants were immersed in interactive and challenging activities that fostered creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical proficiency. One of the seminar's highlights was its alignment with the National Robotics Competition 2024. Under the guidance of Mr. Anderson Paunellan Jr., assisted by 3rd-year College Student-volunteers Murkjiannu Reys S. De Paz, Marc Louise C. Santos, and Zeth Gabriel C. Pacrem, the DBTC TechFAIR not only provided participants with valuable technical skills but also nurtured a spirit of innovation, creativity, and teamwork.

The following schools participated in this Don Bosco TechFAIR:

  • DBTC

  • Little Thams Learning Center

  • CENTEX Manila

  • F. Ma. Guerrero Elementary School

  • Bacood Elementary School

The organizers thank all participants, mentors, and supporters who contributed to its success. The TechnoFair serves as a testament to Don Bosco Mandaluyong's commitment to nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and preparing students for the opportunities and challenges of the future. With the knowledge and skills acquired during this seminar, participants are well-equipped to embark on their journey toward excellence in robotics and AI.
