DBTC Mandaluyong Joins Meeting for 4th Bosconian Youth Congress
On October 20, 2023, the Don Bosco Mandaluyong Basic Education Sector Student Council (BES-SC) took part in the annual Bosconian Youth Congress (BYC) meeting at the Don Bosco Technical Institute - Tarlac. The BYC, scheduled for December 1-2, 2023, serves as a platform for Bosconians to gain knowledge about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs). Furthermore, its objective is to propose and implement campus projects that can address the issues and concerns raised by the United Nations, with a specific focus on UN-SDG 13: Climate Action for this year.
The meeting was attended by Bosconian student leaders from the Philippine North Province and was facilitated by the Don Bosco Mandaluyong BES-SC. The session aimed to foster camaraderie among the student leaders, finalize the BYC program, and assign tasks to various committees. To familiarize the organizers with the facilities to be used during the event, the meeting concluded with a tour of the campus of Don Bosco Tarlac.
