For the Good of Young People: First Session of the SEPP Workshop

June 24, 2024 - Representatives from various sectors of the Educative Pastoral Community of DBTC Mandaluyong gathered for the Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan (SEPP) meeting held at the Pastoral Center. The workshop was facilitated by Fr. Joel Camaya, SDB, who began with a general overview of the SEPP and its place in the Salesian tradition. He emphasized that the primary purpose of crafting such a plan is for the good of young people.

On May 17, 2024, Fr. Marc Will R. Lim, SDB, the Vice President of Administration at Don Bosco Technical College, conducted an orientation on the Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan (SEPP) for representatives of its stakeholders. PAGHAHABI 2024: Unveiling the Strategic Blueprint for Excellence

In August 2023, DBTC sounded off the “Hudyat”, a Filipino term for senyas, tanda or kahandaan, which was the start of the 5-year Road Map to the 75th anniversary of the institution. Last April 4-5, 2024, the President, Vice Presidents and Directors crafted strategic plans that charted the course for the institution's growth and excellence. This event, which was aptly called “Paghahabi 2024”, commenced the second phase of redefining the educational landscape by presenting a comprehensive roadmap for the future.

DBTC Welcomes the Alumni of San Carlos Seminary

November 13, 2023, Mandaluyong City—The Educative-Pastoral Community of Don Bosco Technical College, Mandaluyong, led by the Salesians of Don Bosco, welcomed the alumni of San Carlos Seminary (SCS) on their 91st Alumni Homecoming, “Banal sa Pangarap, Bayani sa Sikap.” The two-day homecoming began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Chapel of Mary Help of Christians, which is part of the Old Building—the original site of San Carlos Seminary before its transfer to its current complex along EDSA in Makati City. Fr. Ronilo Basilio Javines, SDB, President/Rector of Don Bosco Mandaluyong, presided over the Holy Mass in Honor of Saint Charles Borromeo. The alumni-priests of SCS concelebrated with Fr. Joselito Martin, SCS Rector, and Fr. Mark Munda, SCS Alumni President, joining Fr. Javines on the sanctuary.
