Are there group study/discussion rooms?

The Reading Area is utilized for group study/discussion when the BED subject teacher request for a reservation for this purpose and only during Periodical Examinations. For the HED Library, the A-V Room can be requested for group study/ discussion purposes subject to the availability of the room.


Can I check-out CDs/DVDs? Where are they shelved?

Audio-Visual Materials are for library and classroom use only. You may preview or view the CD’s/DVDs int the Vieing Area of the library, For faculty they may use it in the classroom subject to the rules and regulations of using A-V materials ( See Rules and Regulations of the Library)


I’d like to donate books to the Library. Whom shall I contact?

You may contact the Library Coordinator for books to be donated to the library. The donation will be subjected to the rules and regulation in accepting donations. The Library Coordinator will provide the donor through email, the list of books donated and acknowledgement of receipt.


How can I borrow/check-out a book from the Library?

Students may borrow a maximum of three books from the library at any time provided he has a valid school ID.

Fiction/Novel Books - 2 weeks
General Collection - 1 week
Filipiñiana Books - 1 week
Reference Materials - ROOM USE ONLY
Magazines & Newspapers - ROOM USE ONLY


How can I pay for lost books?

Lost books must be reported and replaced or paid for within 30 days. Payment shall be equivalent to the book’s current market value together with the accrued fine. If the book is out of print, cost of photocopying plus binding cost shall be charged in lieu of current market value. Accrued fines shall also be charged.


How can we access eBooks, eJournals available in the Library?

the digital library collection can be access through the link provided, found under Services of the library or seek the help of the librarian in ASK A LIBRARIAN through email.


How do I find theses? How do I access them? Can I photocopy or capture a digital copy of the thesis?

Theses collection is located at the College Library and are to be used inside the room only. Photocopying of theses is not allowed.


How do I know if an item is overdue?

The borrower may check the date due on books borrowed at the back cover of the book


How do I renew library materials?

Borrowers may renew the library materials in person.


How do I request instruction in library research for my class?

Secure a Request for Research Schedule Form from the librarian at the Circulation Desk. Fill up the form and submit it to the librarian Two (2) days prior to the intended visit of the Class in the library.


What is a call number?

A call number is the set of alpha-numeric combination mark, found on the spine of a library book,or on the upper left corner of the front cover of the book or listed in the library's catalog, indicating the book's location in the library.
