DBTC-SHS PILOT SCHOOL Ready!
We are proud to announce that Don Bosco Technical College - Mandaluyong City is a PILOT SCHOOL for the implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School Program (SHS) for the school year 2025 - 2026.
The strengthened SHS Program aims to enhance the skills, readiness, and future of the incoming Grade 11 students with the following key features:
1. Pure Academic Track and Academic Track with Technical Professional (TechPro) Electives- There are tracks that align with the interests and career goals of the students.
2. Reduced Core Subjects - The core subjects were streamlined from 15 core subjects to 5 to increase the time for more essential topics.
3. Work Immersion/Design and Innovation- A term is dedicated to work immersion/design and innovation to improve job readiness and to enhance the creativity, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills of the students.
