Sacrament of Confirmation presided by: Archbishop Francesco Panfilo, SDB, DD
In a momentous occasion marking a significant step in their spiritual journey, students of Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation, a rite that empowers them to live out their Christian mission with renewed strength and commitment. The sacrament was presided over by the esteemed Archbishop Panfilo, whose presence and guidance made the ceremony even more memorable for all involved.
With hearts full of faith and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the young Bosconians were spiritually enriched, receiving the grace needed to continue their path as true followers of Christ. The Sacrament of Confirmation, a pivotal moment in the lives of these students, deepened their connection with God and strengthened their resolve to live according to Christian values.
Throughout the ceremony, Archbishop Panfilo shared his words of wisdom, inspiring the confirmands to embrace the Holy Spirit’s gifts—wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. He encouraged the students to not only reflect on their faith but to actively live it out in their everyday lives, becoming beacons of love, service, and kindness in the world.
This sacramental celebration was a family affair, with confirmands surrounded by their families, friends, and mentors, all of whom shared in the joy and pride of this sacred occasion. The support and love of the families played a crucial role in helping these young individuals reach this important milestone.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is not just a rite of passage; it is a call to action. For our young Bosconians, this ceremony marked the beginning of a deeper commitment to their Christian faith, and they are now more empowered to live out their mission as strong, compassionate, and faithful members of their communities.
Congratulations to all the confirmands and their families! May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire you as you grow in faith and purpose, living out the teachings of Christ in every aspect of your life.
