EPC Celebrates Immaculate Conception
The EPC community gathered last December 7 at the Gesu Adolescente Gymnasium to celebrate in advance a Marian Feast—The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. It was a festive gathering with the whole EPC making it more meaningful by witnessing the induction of the new members of the Knights of the Altar of the Basic Education Department as well as the First Holy Communion of 4 BED Students.
Fr. Rector’s homily drew a parallel between Mary’s generous obedience to God’s plan and the KOA’s willingness to serve in the Eucharistic Celebrations as well as the First Communicants’s desire to partake of the Eucharist.

This is my second to the last message for the year 2018.
The liturgical year of the Church has just ended and the past Sunday opened a new liturgical year with the onset of Advent - a time of preparation for the second most important feast of the Roman Catholic Church and the whole Christian world at large.
"Endings," as T.S. Eliot once famously wrote, "are beginnings." Both endings and beginnings are signs of new hope, new developments, new growth. Growth and development are exactly what we have in mind at this time for DBTC. As I have already told you once before, there are two things that currently, we are working on now. The first is the revision of our organizational chart. If you remember, we had to change it, dictated by pressing needs back in 2014, when big financial constraints were staring us in the face. Four years hence, we have before us the growing challenges posed by two realities: our spearheading of the DBECPhilippines, and our dream of pursuing, with Canlubang, the One College System.
I ask you for forbearance, tolerance and understanding. Soon, we shall be communicating to all of you the details of this revised organizational chart.
The second has to do with a FACULTY MANUAL that best reflects the desired organizational change and that does away with discrepancies with the employees' handbook. Again, the Faculty Manual is being revised in view of the administrative consolidation and standardization of all DBEC schools and training centers.
I end by wishing you all in advance a Merry Christmas. I expect to see you in our Simbang Gabi masses beginning December 16, 2018.
Sincerely in Christ Jesus our Savior,
Fr Vitaliano "Chito" Dimaranan, SDB
