The IT/CS Bosconians of Don Bosco Mandaluyong actively engaged in the Rehackt Challenge 2023, demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm and commitment throughout the event. They had the privilege of gaining invaluable insights from distinguished industry practitioners who delivered inspiring talks and shared their profound knowledge.

Rehackt, inspired by the renowned Hacktoberfest, emerged as a significant and enriching in-person event. It featured a series of short talks that delved into open-source technologies and the latest advancements in web development. These enlightening discussions were complemented by a Portfolio Showcase, allowing our students to display their talents and innovations. Most notably, the event hosted the Rehackt Challenge, a rigorous programming competition designed to test participants' skills and knowledge, fostering a competitive yet collaborative environment.

The event unfolded at the prestigious 27F KMC Podium West Tower, situated at 12 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, providing an inspiring backdrop for our students to engage and learn. The Rehackt Challenge 2023 took place on October 19, 2023, offering a single day filled with discovery, growth, and networking opportunities.

Rehackt drew its inspiration from Hacktoberfest, a tradition that encourages developers to contribute to the open-source community. The event aimed to provide comprehensive insights into the realms of open-source, web development, and programming skills, aligning with the core values and objectives of Don Bosco Mandaluyong.

During the event, our students actively attended talks, expanded their knowledge, and capitalized on networking opportunities. They were not only passive observers but enthusiastic participants in games that presented cash prizes. The presence of industry practitioners as speakers further enriched the learning experience, inspiring our students to aim higher and achieve greater milestones in the realm of IT and computer science. The Rehackt Challenge, with its stringent programming challenges, pushed our students to test their limits, learn from each other, and apply the programming skills they've acquired.

The Rehackt Challenge 2023 was an event that united learning, competition, and industry engagement, fostering a profound impact on our IT/CS students.
